  • Usage information — pages visited, time spent on pages, links clicked, referring website, approximate geographic location (city/region)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiry. When you submit the contact form, we use your contact details to reply directly about your specific request. We do not automatically add you to a marketing list.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies to function properly and to help us understand visitor behavior. Cookies fall into the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Site to work (for example, to maintain your session). These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics to measure how visitors use the Site.
  • Advertising cookies — set by Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure ad performance and, in some cases, deliver targeted advertising on other platforms.

When you first visit the Site, you will see a cookie banner that lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customize your preferences. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.

To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on. For Meta and LinkedIn advertising preferences, visit your account settings on those platforms.

  • Contact form submissions: up to 24 months from your last interaction with us, then deleted unless we are required to keep them longer for legal, accounting, or regulatory reasons.
  • Analytics data: retained according to Google Analytics 4 default settings (currently 14 months) unless you have asked us to delete data related to you.
  • Server logs: typically retained for 30 to 90 days by our hosting provider.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. We honor the following requests from any visitor, regardless of state of residence:

  • Right to know — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to delete — request that we delete personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to correct — request that we correct inaccurate information.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, but you may still submit a request to confirm this.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@camelocommunication.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within 45 days, or sooner if required by your state’s law.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other state residents

If you are a resident of a state with a comprehensive privacy law (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others), you have the rights listed above under that state’s law. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

EU and UK visitors

We do not actively market to or target visitors outside the United States, and we do not knowingly process personal data of EU or UK residents. If you are an EU or UK resident who has interacted with our Site, you may contact us at the email above to exercise rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR, including the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on internal systems, and vetted third-party service providers. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or from the Site.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@camelocommunication.com and we will delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to websites operated by third parties, including our clients, partners, and social media platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

11. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no widely accepted standard for how to respond to these signals, our Site does not currently respond to them. You can still control tracking through our cookie banner and through your browser settings.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will post a notice on the Site or notify you by other means as required by law. Your continued use of the Site after any change means you accept the updated policy.
