VP and Director of Operations
Stella Laguado is Vice President and Director of Operations at Camelo Communication. The dual role puts her at the center of both the agency's strategic direction and its day-to-day functioning: she coordinates project traffic across the different areas, negotiates and follows up on vendor relationships, and organizes the team so that every account has the resources and timelines it needs. In practice, she is the person who turns what gets promised to a client into a workable plan behind the scenes.
She has more than 10 years of experience in media, marketing, and management, a path that started on the operational side of broadcast radio before moving into the agency world. That background gave her a particular way of handling process under pressure: she knows what it takes to keep an operation running that cannot afford to stop, and she applies that same discipline to Camelo's daily work, where her priority is that every project goes out on time, on budget, and at the quality level the client expects, without that depending on someone standing over it to make sure it happens.
She is Colombian, and before joining Camelo Communication she worked at Caracol Radio, one of the country's largest radio networks, an experience that shaped how she thinks about content production and the logistics behind it.
